A fireball at night, as bright as a full moon - 27.9.2022 at 20.21 Jyväskylä Observation number 109636

Visibility III / V

Jaakko Martikainen, Ursa (Länsi-Suomi)

I was fishing by the lake and suddenly it got a little light. I raised my head and saw a long yellow ball of fire almost exactly in the south, heading towards the southeast. It was also clearly much lower than shooting stars usually are. There were no fish, but I was still in a good mood. :)
