Visibility III / V

Total solar eclipse Keinukallio Kerava 22.7.1990 at 04:53, this is what it read in the negative pocket. It's been 32 years since then. I think I spent half the night on Keinukallio waiting for the eclipse and looking at the scenery. At half past five, the morning group began to arrive in large numbers.

The complete phase of the eclipse was behind the cloud raft floating in the east, but the eclipse was still memorable! The moon's shadow appearing and sweeping over was great to watch. Mercifully, about 10-15 minutes after the perfect phase, the cloud moved enough to get a couple of pictures of the Sun's crescent.
