The northern lights of the morning began as a calm arc but very quickly turned into an active belt with rays. The fast-moving fires were that in some images they appear more or less diffuse.

Katselin iltasella 14.1. päivän puolella yhdistyksen kameraa. Siellä pitäisi olla kuvan vasemmassa reunassa dyynejä jossain klo 20.45-21.15 välillä. Sinänsä ihan huikea esimerkki siitä, miten kamerat Kaupissa ovat kehittyneet. Vielä 2018 ei meinannut dyynejä oikein erottaa, mutta nythän ne näkyivät heti selvinä.
Aikamäärittelysi oli riittävän tarkka, sillä ensimmäiset dyynit näkyivät kello 19.02 UTC ja kirkkaimmillaan ne olivat noin 19.08 — 19.12. Pilvisyys peitti revontulet parikymmentä minuuttia myöhemmin. Markku Lintinen teki tästä ajanjaksosta havaintoraportin, jossa kuvia dyyneistä on näkyvissä
