In the low northeast sky, faint rays stood out from the background sky for a moment, which were just barely visible in the pictures. Upon request, I added a picture with a very faint reddish ray from the arrow down. A hardware image is also included. The play started half an hour before dark. The aurora borealis was visible everywhere in the sky, but the flat, thin layer of clouds started to get in the way and the eye could see only white through it and thick red in the south. Eventually the clouds thickened, even though the meter values were still at their peak. The first picture to the north, the second to the east, the third to the south, the fourth to the zenith, and in the fifth picture thick clouds came from the east to cover the sky-

The green was visible almost all the time it was dark in the north. The rays rose high at midnight and at half past three. They did not fit in the image area of the camera's 24mm lens (74°x84°). A delicious spring night without frost.

As predicted, Uranus was hidden behind the Moon. The weather was clear, we had to move a bit when tree branches threatened to come into view at the last moment when the planet was just about to disappear.

After dark in the evening, a 35% illuminated Moon could be seen in the southern sky at an altitude of 20 degrees. It hasn't been an everyday treat this winter. The country house could also be seen with the naked eye, but it was not possible to photograph it in the glow of the street and Christmas lights. Jupiter was visible 12.4 degrees away and 8th magnitude Neptune was hidden 5.6 degrees away.

The aurora belt came again to Southern Finland, at first the rays rose. The width of the belt was at best 90 degrees. Before midnight, the red streaks were at their best and faded from it to small rays in the morning. The best I've seen of the season were, especially as the Cloudiness here was very little.

In the Porvoo archipelago, the eastern sky started to darken already after 19:00, we had to hurry to assemble the filming equipment, the first photo was taken with a mobile phone. The strong arc rose almost to the zenith and the rays could be seen from time to time. In the end, the play was covered in a carpet of clouds.
