Hyvin heikkoja yöpilviä

25.6.2022 at 01.00 - 02.30 - Kangasala (I)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

The camera captures dim illuminated night clouds from the twilight rays. Attached is a sample of roughly the best (least weak) moment (1.32) in the standard and USM versions. From the USMatted version of the timelapset recording, I estimate the cloud time to be about 1.00-2.30.

Crepuscular rays

25.6.2022 at 00.30 - 03.49 - Kangasala (II)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

I watched the northern sky after midnight and wondered if I would stay to smell the illuminating night clouds or go to sleep. The sky seemed completely empty but just before halfway through I twitched one ray of twilight. The night clouds were not yet visible and when the beam was relatively unassuming, I decided to leave the surveillance to the camera. I put a moderate minute interval on the timer and before going to bed I was still peeking in the opposite direction. Nothing. On the sun side, however, instead of one ray of the initial observation, several rays stood out. Still very modest, bu...

Dim night shining clouds

24.6.2022 at 01.07 - 01.26 - Kangasala (II)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

Mikko Peussa got tips from the illuminators before one. I set out to check on the situation, but the raspberry wool spin on the porch made the check-in forget for a moment. And those clouds hadn't escaped anywhere in a few minutes. To the north, a faint or perhaps even clearly visible group of waves was visible. First image a little later (1.26) moderately processed, second image (1.07) USM-assisted. The treatment brought out even a denser wave and a bundle of twilight rays.

Reflected sunbeams

22.6.2022 at 21.45 - Kangasala (II)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

After the sauna, while cooling off on the pier, I suddenly had a beam of rays. Quick Analysis: Reflected cloud rays (visible at the bottom of the cloud). Singahd picked up the camera and tripod, and although he lingered much longer than half a minute on that trip, the rays had faded. However, I still took a series of pictures with the hope that the rays of it would still bite. They did not petrify, but the weak rays from the animation are better understood than from a single image.

Several halo forms

22.6.2022 at 10.28 - 11.12 - Kangasala (II)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

At the top of the pale halo ring, there appeared to be a lateral brightening (Fig. 1). The stack of 27 images also detached the side suns, horizon ring, pool side and 46r (Figure 2). A little later, the ring did not look strange (Fig. 3) but the stack of 15 pictures revealed that the sidewalls had stretched together (Fig. 4).

In the morning , the upper part of 22r has been visible in the locality, around noon the lower part. Maybe the whole ring tomorrow?

Crepuscular rays

21.6.2022 at 01.02 - 02.02 - Kangasala (I)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

Weak twilight rays appeared alongside the night cloud observation. Where the night clouds stood out a little better at the beginning of the hour period ( 01.02-02.02 ), the twilight rays blew towards the end. Figure 1, 2.02. Figure 2, same as USM processed.

Clearly visible night shining clouds

21.6.2022 at 00.58 - 02.12 - Kangasala (III)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

Matias Takala turned in a quarter without a hint of night clouds . I made my way to the beach with my camera and in the direction of the sunset I could see a few clearly visible beaches. Even the twilight ray was a little separable. I put the camera to tuck in the timelaps and set out to look at the opposite sky. There was a small group of waves a degree clearer and I was already thinking of moving the timelapse factory to photograph it. But then I remembered the twilight rays of the direction of the sun and let it be. There were night clouds in the middle of the sky as well, but softer. The s...

Sun

20.6.2022 at 12.57 - Kangasala (III)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

The noise of the big sunspot on the front page of Spaceweather.com inspired us to photograph the Sun. They were quite fair, but with the naked eye (through the Astrosolar) I could not distinguish them.

Several halo forms

Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

As a companion to the diffuse ring, there was a visually perceptible overhang, a side sun, and a horizon ring. I grabbed a few pictures and thought there might be a place in the stack if it turns out. I had not watched the weather report; The clouds increased and it started to rain. The treatments also released 46r. And as if Lowitz was involved again (Figure 4). And just like that. At the very least, this map shouldn’t have a circular overlay on USM-Artea. But a little uncertain nonetheless. EDIT: Simulated comparison of four images added as a vitos. The annular I imagine to the left of Saur ...

Crepuscular rays

16.6.2022 at 01.21 - 01.23 - Kouvola (I)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

Even modest twilight rays were recorded when photographing the night clouds. So I didn’t separate them live and I would probably have missed the snapshots despite USMaus. Only the animation revealed them. (The animation is a bit over two minutes long).

Clearly visible night shining clouds

A peek out the window - night clouds. With a camera in the yard and a few frames captured. Figure 1: Naturelli view to the southeast. Figure 2: Previous USMattuna. Works. USM reveals delicate structures effectively. Figure 3: USMatted animation from the southeast with a slightly tighter crop. Figure 4: The direction to the north was a little bigger, but the brightness of the sky obstructed its visibility. And it doesn't really stand out very well ... ... before adding the mood USM .

One halo form

14.6.2022 at 05.55 - 07.55 - Vantaa (I)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

On the way to the airport, a weak section of 22r was seen, which was strengthened along the way and there was already a good rinkula (Fig. 1). Unfortunately, the seat was on the worse side of the plane in terms of halos, but the Sun would not have been very easy on the other side either. And there was no common sense in the journey. But there was still a nice runway number (bonus picture 1). The only phenomenon of flight was that the opposition effect seemed to remain as the plane curved, but then I swung in the cloud of scar caused by the plane being counted as a hole cloud (bonus image 2).

Rare halos

12.6.2022 at 18.45 - Kouvola (IV)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

In the evening there was a slight hint, 22r and sa. I snaped a few pictures with a snap, and when the side sun looked pretty nice, a small series of stacks were taken. However, only by hand. The hr, which I did not outline live, stood out clearly from the stack (and even from the still images). Less clearly (you almost wanted to go unnoticed) was the log wing on the side that stood out. The side panel in the bottom panel of the attached composite image is perhaps best outlined. In the second lower panel, an annular Lowitz can be imagined on the left. I did a simulation to support the imaginati...

Rare halos

10.6.2022 at 08.40 - 19.36 - Kouvola (IV)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

Almost lamented all day. In the morning sun, a double and a little ys brightness. The treatment also revealed 46r and a weak sa (Fig. 1). Later, while the ring was still visible, I put the camera on the balcony to shoot at 10 sec intervals. Later in the afternoon, a nice colorful side sun appeared on the shopping trip for a while (Figure 2). Evening while I was mowing the lawn, I noticed a dim zyk. Zykki performed even later, being very fast in his twists; the best moment was recorded only on the retinas. When searching for the camera, the brightness had already faded considerably (Fig. 3) and...
