It was a cloudless early night. I found a 40-year-old 2x TC, so I had to make a fuss. 2xTC + 1.4xTC + 300mm f4, i.e. 840mm f11. ISO800, 1/200s. A stack of 20 squares. PiPP, AutoStakkert, Astrosurface, Ps

June started as you might have guessed, with cold and cloudy conditions. In the afternoon, the sun showed up a little better, so I photographed for a while on little Lunt. Very strange activity did not occur at this time, which is why there is not much joy in the animation. About 50 minutes of videos.

While waiting for the Turku bus, I amused myself by watching to see if a rainbow would come, and it did, and so did the bus on time.

Somewhere in the direction of Lempäälä, a fading anvil cloud. I didn't dare to touch the mammuts.

The sky was otherwise clear, but below ten degrees there were clouds from the northwest to the northeast, which at a distance could be mistaken for narrow bands of night clouds near the horizon. When the gray lines were closer, the contrast illusion does not work. The contrasts of the images have been emphasized with Lightroom.

My wife and I were on a tour in Ähtäri Animal Park, when a hailstorm surprised us at the end of the route - and even more so at the snow leopard... ;-D The hailstorm lasted for maybe 7-10 minutes, and in some places the ground was white with hail. The size of the largest grain I suddenly noticed was about five millimeters. The hailstones were pretty much snowflakes, there is no exact information about the temperature at the observation location at the time of observation, but a guess around +2°C- +3°C (around 4 pm when we left, the car gauge showed +3°C). A good couple of hours earlier (i.e. a...

During this day, there have been so many hailstorms that I can't remember anything like it. It was also raining. The wind has been stormy at times. For a moment the sun appeared. Fast weather changes. Before these cloud pictures, there was a really strong wind, the air was cloudy and it was raining hail. However, there was no thunder. I didn't understand going to take pictures. The weather didn't appeal :D I finally realized that if there was something to film. However, I don't know if there's anything wrong with these. Later I took pictures of the hail and the hailstones. ...

Main rainbow. Part of it. In the fourth picture, it is still faintly visible on the right side. Rainbow head with litter box; one person's trash is another's treasure. :D

The Sp-ring was not the same as the day before, but it was visible in the evening sky in front of the clouds nicely.

The first day of June and snow in the house. Hail and snow showers marked this day. At the time of shooting + 3 c and the highest temperature of the day only + 8 c. Not when wearing a fur cap and heading towards Midsummer. :D

For a short while, the tire was visible. Quite a surprise for today. The weather is cold and changeable. It's raining hail every now and then. It also rained and the wind was stormy at times.

After a heavy rain of hail and sleet, I saw mammatus clouds or udder clouds on the horizon.

The weather forecast didn't promise much, but when unexpectedly a moderate-sized opening in the blue sky appeared in the sky, it had to be used urgently. I got a few short stacks from both the departing dot group and the upcoming and obviously promising one (called AR3323).

The owner of the weather was quite fussy about good sunny weather, so I took what was available. Seeing was really bad, when the granulation that was previously well visible was now really on the cards. I somehow got to see it in one picture. There are now plenty of active areas in the area of the sun's disc, and new ones are already emerging from behind the edge. Full disc with 80mm lens tube, close-ups with 152mm telescope tube. Really small stacks were a way to get data out despite the weather, most of the close-up photos are stacks of only 15 photos. Too many days have passed with appa...

For Nega, the conditions were avoidable. The gust of about twenty minutes is short, and the cloudy sky below 10 degrees prevents the detection of weak cloud fibers. At least there wasn't anything bigger. The images have been processed and warmed with a setting of 8 kK.
